Nadal and Federer: A Match for All Time, July 7 2008
I am working on a short essay about the great Wimbledon Final between Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer that took place at Wimbledon yesterday. I am also writing an essay on the relationship to color, race, and the politics of a presidential candidate: Barack Obama. The paper on Peter Doig is also in progress. Look for the Wimbledon piece tomorrow.

Launch!, July 1, 2008
Directional Forces is launched on Canada Day! The first works include "War and Paint", "Luc Tuymans and the Use Value of Irony", a photo by Giorgio Fati, of the backstage area at a performance by The Milagro Center Children, and a review of William Earl Kofmehl III's show at Lombard-Freid from December of 2007.

I am working on an article on Peter Doig and the Lurid.
